The family has posted the Formal Obituary Posted for MarDella LaRocco Crump.

Our loving mother MarDella LaRocco Crump Berrett returned home to be greeted by her loving husband, parents, and siblings. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she spent her life serving others. Born February 5, 1931, in Dividend, Juab County, Utah to Margaretta Werrett and William Raymond LaRocco. The family moved to Midvale in 1937 at the death of her father. She attended Midvale Elementary, Midvale Junior High School and graduated in 1949 from Jordan High School in Sandy. She married Delbert Grant Crump on March 15, 1950, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Delbert died on January 9, 1984. Her greatest joy in life was her family and her life-long membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she held many positions and had a strong testimony of the gospel and her Savior. MarDella worked for the Jordan School District where she worked for 30 years before retiring. On April 26, 1996, she married Blaine H. Berrett and together they enjoyed eleven years traveling in the United States and many foreign countries. Blaine died on June 26, 2007. She is survived by her children, Karen (Brent-deceased) Bryson, Colleen (Jeff) Clarke, Denise (Kevin) Webb, Douglas G. Crump (Olga): twelve grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Beth Thornton, brother and sister-in-law, Sherman and Ardyth Crump and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah.

Before service, the viewing will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Interment at the Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
